Boston homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found Sunday night on a houseboat in Charlestown. Police said officers responded to Shipway Place around 10:43 p.m. to “investigate an incident” on a houseboat, where they found the body.

A woman was arrested at the scene of a death at a Charlestown marina houseboat late Sunday night, Boston Police reported.

Officers went to Shipway Place in Charlestown around 10:39 p.m. Sunday, Sgt. Detective John Boyle, the department’s chief spokesman, wrote in an email. Homicide detectives were requested and are leading a death investigation, Boyle said.
