The Detroit Lions’ identity on offense has often been defined by their aggressiveness—and success—on fourth down. On Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Lions only had one of those things: their aggressiveness. Detroit went a whopping 0-for-5 on fourth down against the Eagles, leading to a tough day from the Lions’ offense.

The Cowboys pulled closer as the Eagles offense sputtered, and three defenders left a third-quarter drive with injuries. Cornerback Adoree Jackson (concussion) and defensive tackle Moro Ojomo (undisclosed) left on successive plays. Later in the drive, safety Reed Blankenship was hurt.

The Eagles' offense is in the same category as the Raiders when it comes to offensive failures over the past five weeks.

The Eagles took over art their own 33-yard line. Hurts dropped a deep pass right in the bucket to DeVonta for a 44-yard gain (the Eagles got away with Fred Johnson notably holding Maxx Crosby) and then Barkley ran for seven yards to end the first quarter.
