LANSING, MI -- The sixth largest Powerball jackpot of all time is up for grabs as the estimated grand prize for the drawing on Monday, Dec. 15 is worth $1.1 billion with a cash option of $503.4 million. Once again, MLive will provide results of the drawing shortly after it takes place at 11 p.m. EST.

Powerball number was 2, but no one claimed the top prize. While the jackpot went unclaimed, several players still scored big, including $1 million winners in California and Arizona. The estimated cash value for Monday’s next drawing now stands at more than $572.

But even if you’re not a big lottery winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, it’s still worth heeding this advice for managing a significant sum of money

It’s been more than three months since anyone has won the Powerball jackpot, leading to Wednesday night’s grand prize being the seventh largest in the game’s history. The estimated jackpot for the Dec. 10 drawing is worth $930 million with a cash option of $429 million.
