The Home button has been officially retired now that the iPhone 16e is out, and the iPhone SE 3 is, as once uttered on Laguna Beach, “dunzo.” The internet is not happy about it. Blogs and Reddit posts have been published speaking out against this great injustice done to fan service.

On Wednesday, Apple introduced “a new member of the family.” Tim Cook last week had teased that the company would be launching something, and it turns out it’s a new iPhone. Or, it’s a new version of an old iPhone, but with a new name.

As you can see above, the Home button was the most popular answer by some margin. Of 1,484 respondents, 791 said they’d miss the Home button the most, followed by 385 for Touch ID, 191 for small iPhone screens, and 117 for the Lightning charging standard (which makes sense – Lightning sucked!).
