SEATTLE-- Morgan Frost scored for the Calgary Flames, who fended off a late rally from the Seattle Kraken for a 3-2 win at Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday. It was Frost's first goal with Calgary since being acquired along with Joel Farabee in a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday for Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier.

Last night wasn’t the result that Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee were searching for in their Calgary Flames debut. The duo, who were acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night, were a part of a Flames 3-1 loss at the hands of the Detroit Red Wings. That said, there were positives from both in the outing.

Yegor Sharangovich and Jonathan Huberdeau each scored on the power play in Calgary’s three-goal first period and the Flames held on to beat the Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Sunday night.

Seattle gave up the first official goal to Morgan Frost, then winger Jared McCann took issue with a legal hit on teammate Andre Burakovsky between the benches. McCann dived on top of Calgary defenseman Brayden Pachal, then went off to the penalty boxes to ice his knuckles. His double minor for roughing had convoluted consequences.

Morgan Frost has officially arrived in Calgary. The newly acquired forward scored his first goal as a Flame in their matchup against the Seattle Kraken, becoming the 403rd player in franchise history to find the back of the net.
