Three new wildfires have started in southern California since Monday as dry conditions and destructive winds continued to create a high fire risk in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. At least 24 people have been killed in the disaster and dozens more are missing.

The program guaranteeing fire insurance coverage for homeowners turned down by traditional companies, known as the California FAIR Plan​, could run out of money following the devastating destruction caused by the Palisades and Eaton fires.

Multiple major wildfires, including the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire, are leaving a trail of destruction and death in the Los Angeles area.
