Emergency crews responded to a private plane crash on Friday morning in Greenville. The crash occurred near the intersection of North Memorial Drive and Belvoir Road, close to the Pitt-Greenville Airport.

Two people were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton to be treated for minor injuries, according to South Western Ambulance Service. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch said it had started a safety investigation and was making enquiries. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service sent two appliances to the scene.
