This means that players actually won't be able to trade cards from the Space-Time Smackdown expansion when it launches, and will instead have to wait for that option. It also means that all the Pokemon TCG Pocket rarest cards can't be traded, so if you wanted somebody's gold Mewtwo ex, you won't get it.

The name and release date of Pokemon TCG Pocket's new set of cards has been revealed. Trading also has a release date but there are now even more restrictions.

The Space-Time Smackdown cards are coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket before the end of January, adding more than 140 new cards across two booster packs. The Space-Time Smackdown expansion will focus on the Sinnoh region and will feature Dialga and Palkia as the figurehead Pokémon for the two new packs.
