Season 2, episode 3, “Who Is Alive?” finally re-centers the babies, this time revealing an entire department devoted to animal care: Mammalians Nurturable, led by a goatherd named Lorne (Gwendolyn Christie),

The episode sees Cobel still on the road after abruptly driving away from Mark, who confronted her outside her home. When she reaches an unknown place called Salt's Neck, she decides to turn around and head back, but like most things Cobel does, we don't quite know why.

Mark and Helly meet the team of severed employees who care for Lumon's four-legged friends, Dylan meets his outie's wife, and Milchick meets his own unsettling image

The Goat Lady in Severance Season 2 is a character called Lush, played by actress Gwendoline Christie. She appears in Episode 3 and is shown to be the head of the Mammalian's Nurturable department at Lumon Industries. This department takes care of goats, a mysterious element that has been a point of interest since the first season.

Much of this week’s Severance episode focuses on re-connecting what has previously been separated: Cobel and Lumon; Outie Mark and Innie Mark; Innie Dylan and his wife; Outie Mark and his wife; the MDR department and the mysterious “Mammalians Nurturable.
