Philippe Clement has been sacked by Rangers after only 16 months in the job. The Scottish club took the decision following a home defeat to St Mirren on Sunday, The result leaves the Ibrox side 13 points behind leaders Celtic with 11 games left.

Rangers have sacked manager Phillippe Clement after Saturday’s loss to St Mirren. The Glasgow giants have taken action after a torrid run of form which sees them trail Celtic by 13 points in the Scottish Premiership. Pressure had ramped up on the Belgian manager following a shock defeat to Queen’s Park in the Scottish Park earlier this month.
