Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential Tier games for February 2025 are Payday 3 (PS5), High on Life (PS4 and PS5), and Pac-Man World Re-Pac (PS4 and PS5).

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed February 2025’s PlayStation Plus Essential games. February’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Payday 3 ( PS5 ), High on Life ( PS4, PS5) and Pac-Man World Re-Pac (PS4, PS5). They’ll be available for subscribers to claim from February 4 until March 3.

For PS4 owners, Sony has stated that due to the growing number of PS5 players, the company is shifting towards offering only PS5 titles through the PlayStation Plus monthly games and game catalog benefits, starting January 2026.

Sony's announcement about the PS Plus PS4 changes was accompanied by the reveal of the free games for February 2025. For those that may have missed the announcement, the free PS Plus games for February 2025 are Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will soon lose access to eight games as part of the ongoing rotation in the service's Extra and Premium tiers. While the

PlayStation has revealed that PS4 games will be deprioritized by PS Plus updates starting next year, marking a new, quieter era for the console.

Sony has announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers will stop getting free monthly PS4 games starting in 2026, as the company shifts focus to PS5 owners. However, Sony acknowledges that subscribers may still occasionally receive PS4 games through PS Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog after the change.

You’ll still have access to monthly PS4 games you’ve already redeemed, but Sony is shifting its focus more fully to PS5.
