DENVER -- The Philadelphia 76ers suffered a 144-109 blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday as their losing streak reached seven games. The Sixers trailed by as many as 35, allowing Denver to score 68 points in the paint and 37 fast break points. The Nuggets shot 61.2% from the floor and 16-for-31 from deep.

For the game, the 76ers could be without one of their best players, as Paul George is on the injury report. George has missed each of the previous two games, so this would be his third straight out of action (if he doesn't play).

It’s unclear just how severe George’s setback is, but he has missed a couple of games recently. Since the start of the new year, George has missed three outings, including Sat
