Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam on January 22 questioned the ‘quick recovery’ of the Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan after stabbing incident. He said that has the ‘medical sector progressed so much that Saif Ali Khan comes to his home jumping and dancing’.

"Mumbai citizens and I had some innocent questions, that I have raised... Has the medical sector progressed so much that Saif Ali Khan comes to his home jumping and dancing (after the attack)?" said Sanjay Nirupam,

Recovery time after such surgeries vary greatly depending on the severity of the injury and other health factors.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, five days after he was stabbed six times by an intruder who intended to rob the Khan-Kapoor's household in Bandra.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder during a home invasion. After the incident the actor underwent a surgery and was discharged five days later. A video of him walking normally and waving at paps has now gone viral and it has triggered a lot of speculation on the internet.

Sanjay Nirupam said that despite reports of a 2.5-inch knife wound and a six-hour surgery, Saif Ali Khan managed to return home just four days later.
