Kennewick police want community members to know that a potential school shooting threat going around on social media is a hoax. A Richland schools student accused of making the threat was taken into custody Sunday afternoon on suspicion of making felony threats, according to an update from Richland police.

A second arrest has been made weeks after Philadelphia police arrested Tamir Cole, 20, for the March 2023 robbery-turned-murder of 15-year-old Devin Weedon.
