Assassin's Creed Shadows is getting a prequel manga but not until after the game comes out, Ubisoft has announced. The company revealed on X/Twitter that, while the prequel manga will arrive in Japan on the game's release date of March 20, it won't arrive elsewhere until "later."

But the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows was always going to be ripe for a manga, and Ubisoft has announced that it’s cooking up an adaptation for launch in Japan. The comic will release globally at a later date, with Kodansha on publishing duties.
