🌧️The rain radar showers shower activity across parts of North and Far North Queensland today. Showers are heaviest about the North Tropical Coast, with 30-60 mm recorded between Cairns and Ingham in the 6 hours to 9:30am AEST Saturday. Innisfail Aerodrome recorded the most, reaching 84 mm in this period. A low pressure trough lying across the Cape York Peninsula is generating a cloud band through northern Queensland, with moist onshore flow enhancing wet weather along the North Tropical Coast.
